The strongest CNC suppliers do not quote only from a model. They review the drawing, question expensive tolerances, and separate critical dimensions from cosmetic or non-functional features. Buyers should confirm material certificate requirements, heat treatment, surface finish, deburring level, thread standards, and whether first-article inspection is required before series production.
For technical parts, ask how the workshop measures the feature that matters most. Calipers may be enough for simple spacers, while coordinate measuring machines, surface roughness checks, hardness testing, or gauge controls may be needed for precision assemblies. Clear inspection expectations prevent disputes later, especially when parts are shipped directly to assembly lines.
